Last weekend, on May 7, the 7-piece Sound Dunes Swing Combo was invited to perform for the residents of the Windsor Skilled Nursing Facility at North Main Street in South Yarmouth. It was the group’s first performance at that venue and, although the event was private, we’ve attached a video (below) of the group’s performance of “On the Sunny Side of the Street with Jeff Camish on vocals. You can see from the very enthusiastic response of the audience in the video that everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
Although that performance was private, we would like to remind you that you have an opportunity to see the next LIVE public performance of the full 20-piece Sound Dunes Swing Ensemble tomorrow, Saturday, May 14, 11am to 2pm at THE DAVID BIRTWELL MEMORIAL WALK FOR ALZHEIMERS, SCUSSET BEACH STATE PARK, SANDWICH, MA. The event is hosted by the Alzheimer’s Family Support Center. You are invited to participate in this very worthy event or just take a leisurely walk along the beautiful Cape Cod Canal and enjoy the music and the environment.
