SD Swing Combo at AFSC “Arts & Ideas”

The Sound Dunes organization was proud to be invited to participate in the Alzheimer’s Family Support Center’s Arts & Ideas Program, on Monday, April 11th. “Arts & Ideas” brings creative people (musicians, artists, writers, tradespeople) together with people living with cognitive disease, their caregivers, family members, and interested members of the community for enrichment and companionship on a regular basis. Cape Cod’s Museum of Art in Dennis hosts this program.

The Sound Dunes Swing Combo’s 8 piece band performed “Live” at the CCMoA where attendance was restricted to Alzheimer clients and their caretakers due to COVID safety precautions which were still in effect. However, the program was made available to the general public in real time via ZOOM.

For those who were unavailable to connect up with the Zoom broadcast of the Sound Dunes Swing Combo performance on April 11, we have some great news for you. The entire event was recorded through the main camera used for the event and actually has a somewhat higher quality audio than the Zoom broadcast.

We would like to thank AFSC for allowing our fans to access the following YouTube link to the performance and hope that you will enjoy watching and listening to it by clicking on the image below.
