Members of the Sound Dunes will be leading the Dennis Village Halloween Hootenanny Parade at 5:30pm on Thursday, October 31 and performing during the festivities at the Cape Playhouse.

So get your costumes ready and your Dancin’ Shoes on…the 4th Annual Dennis Village Halloween Hootenanny is just around the corner!

The costume parade will start around 5:30pm on the grounds of the Cape Playhouse, circling along the side of the street, and return to the Playhouse where the bulk of the festivities will take place.

On Sunday, August 11th, The Sound Dunes Swing Ensemble (SDSE) performed during a Summer Strawberry Swing Dance Social. The event was billed as “an old fashioned community summer social” and was hosted by The First Congregational Church of Harwich on the grounds of the church.

The weather cooperated magnificently and the crowd not only enjoyed a beautiful summer afternoon, but also some great music by the Sound Dunes with vocals by Linda DeLorey and Tom Jahnke.
